I have been right all along.
My first vote, at age 18, was against Richard Nixon. He ended up resigning in disgrace. I was right.
Next, I voted Democratic again. Gerald Ford pardoned Nixon in a deal. We all know it. I was right.
I voted for Carter, who was only partially successful undoing the damage from Nixon. I was right.
I voted again for Carter, but Reagan won. Hostages freed within an hour. The start of many, many shady deals, including selling arms to Iran, which was criminal and the ringleader was Reagan. I was right.
Again, voted against Reagan. He was already in early stages of Alzheimer's. I was right.
Voted against Bush Sr. Economy tanked. It's the economy, stupid. I was right.
Voted for Clinton. Economy began one of its biggest growth phases in decades. I was right.
Voted for Clinton again. Economy kept steamrolling. Huge surplus. Debt would have been completely eliminated in 2007 had we stayed on track. I was right.
Voted against Bush. He sat with his thumb up his butt while attackers carried out 9/11. I was right.
Voted against Bush again. It was discovered weeks before the election that he lied about getting busted for drunk driving. He presided over the biggest economic disaster in 80 years. I was right.
Voted for Obama. Somehow, he managed to keep the entire world economy from collapsing. I was right.
I'm voting for Obama again. Nobody fully understood how monumental the task was that he undertook. We have made steady progress. A lot remains to be done, and if Romneycare is elected, you have only yourselves to blame. I am right once again.
You are free to ignore this. Actually, if you are too far gone to understand why I am right, I hope you do. But you have been warned.
