I went back to work for my sister and BIL's company, but they sold paper in addition to gardening supplies. I think it was some leftover "The Office" memory.
They had this whizbang kid doing some sales support. I picked up a phone sitting on the middle of the floor in an attempt to offer some help, and then foolishly realized that it wasn't connected at all.
Somehow, I had consumed a beer earlier at some point. I knew I probably had a bad case of beer breath. This other person was trying to tell me something, and was very close to my face. I felt bad for him.
Then, somehow, I got a tablet (Android; small one). It had a cover that folder over the screen. I just remember drawing some kind of picture on it, and it had a waterfall in the upper left corner, which was animated, like a movie. I used the two finger gesture to enlarge it, and zoomed in where the falling water hit the pool below. It was like it was in HD - amazing detail.
So, the last part was in some sort of employee lounge. There was a flat area, and a raised part, like a sloping hill. The entire floor was covered with some sort of carpet or 'astroturf'. The raised part was bouncy. Really bouncy. The farther up the slope I went, the more bouncy it got. The problem was that the ceiling was too close. Safety issue - in a dream, no less. So I went back down to the flat area, and wanted to try out the bouncy part. I took a running start up toward the bouncy area, which now had a 2 foot or so little wall dividing the flat part from the bouncy area. I was going to do a forward flip, but at the last second, realized I didn't have any practice and would probably screw it up, and there were others around. Instead, I jumped and landed on my hands, arms bending to absorb my momentum. Then, still upside down, I pressed into a handstand, which I could not do even if my life depended upon it. I held it perfectly straight up and down for about 15 or 20 seconds. Since there were people watching, and I didn't want to disappoint, I think I did a forward flip.
Then I remember talking with my sister and telling her what a wonderful place this was to work. We both smiled broadly at each other.
Lastly, the tablet came back into the dream. It seemed that you could do anything with it, including change its shape. I made it swell up like a balloon. It would have floated/flown, but it would have been rudderless. A girl came over and showed me how to fix it. She used a swipe motion off the bottom, and drew a shaft that came off the tablet itself. So now, the tablet had a sort of rod sticking out of it. Then she took this small object, sort of shaped like a guitar pick, and stuck it on the end of the rod. Now, it looked somewhat like a propeller off the back of a boat, except the prop was flat, but it would rotate with the rod.
That's when I woke up - right in the middle of the dream.
Most times when I dream late at night, I forget about the content, but this time, it was so recent I remembered every detail.
